Nancy Kukla, a fiber arts exhibitor who passed away in 2015 participated in craft shows all over Central OH said  this about Lazy Daze:

I tell everybody at other shows that you won’t be treated this well at any other festival. People at Lazy Daze go out of their way to make you feel welcome & comfortable – helping you with set up, bringing you water throughout the day, providing you with an air-conditioned oasis and even offering snacks! Grandview is a great community and Lazy Daze is a great event.”

Dana Keating Marziale, a pet pastel portrait artist, who was Best of Show at Lazy Daze 2011 said:

"The Lazy Daze Festival has a relaxed neighborhood feel to it.  The organizers and volunteers treat the artists really well.  They are the nicest people to deal with and really make an effort to take care of the artists.  I love the air conditioned oasis and the chilled water.  It is a  good place to be an artist."

Jim Zeier, of Bexley Turnings; Lazy Daze Best of Show Artist, 2014 said:

“I believe the Library exhibit you gave me in January of 2012 was one of the reasons I was able to be one of the 100 or so artist in the Hilton Hotel. Thank you for helping make that possible.”

The Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Arts Council has decided to investigate new avenues in the Arts for 2017; and will not be holding the Lazy Daze Festival this year.

We wish to thank Arts Council members and the many volunteers and sponsors who made

Lazy Daze a successful celebration of the arts in years past.
